Introduction
This is a 3-D modeling of several organic compounds. There will be several monomors, polymors, monosacharides, disacharides, polysacharides. The purpose of this lab is to have an understanding of what each molecule looks like, and how it is bonded. Through the process we have learned about ring structures and how to read and understand each diagram. Too add, these models will give one a better understanding of how many atoms can join to a certain atom, for example; hydrogen can only have 1 atom attached to it, as it only has 1 electron. This principle is already learned with a Bohr diagram; however, seeing this with a 3d diagram helps build a better understanding, and one should be able to predict future diagrams based on these principles.Molecular Structures
